![]() I saw the entirety of the show earlier this year (yeah, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to series). Does being a fan (or not a fan) of Rick and Morty play a part in regards to your enjoyment of this particular couch gag? For me, this couch gag was the entrance ticket to the show, which drive us to the next question.ģ. But I guess you have to appreciate Rick and Morty's type of humor. Like I said, it's enjoyable in my opinion. Besides, it's the couch gag of Mathlete's Feat, an episode with a lot of scenes made just for wasting time. Here, it's a pretty funny crossover between the two series, but to introduce a 20 minutes episode, it's just too long. You've summarized what I think about the better way to do a couch gag. I thought the longest one was the Don Hertzfeldt one. Does being a fan (or not a fan) of Rick and Morty play a part in regards to your enjoyment of this partiocular couch gag? ![]() Did this couch gag feel like it dragged for you or was it enjoyable?ģ. So what are your thoughts? Few questions to consider.Ģ. ![]() and does being a fan (or not being a fan) of Rick and Morty play a part in regards to your enjoyment of this also?įor me, I've never actually watched Rick and Morty (I know I should, I've heard so many great things about it) so I'm not really a fan or not a fan of the show, I'm just aware of it but it does seem to drag for me, I guess I'm just not really a fan of the longer couch gags at all and although they are enjoyable (it's The Simpsons) it's kinda like, get into the episode for me still to the point where even if it was a favourite show of mine combined (IE Beavis and Butthead) I would still want the intro to be short, quick and to the point (even though I would love to see Beavis and Butthead feature in The Simpsons). I thought this could be interesting to see what you guys felt about if this actually worked for you, if you enjoyed it etc. Now, I know the general consensus is that most people prefer the short, to the point quirky couch gags though I don't really want to go over that conversation but more so how this couch gag works for you considering this is the longest one as of now. Correct me if I'm wrong but according to Simpsons Wiki the current longest couch gag is the Rick and Morty Couch Gag from Season 26's Mathlete's Feat.
